Dear School Swim Families and Athletes,

After careful consideration and continued monitoring of the weather forecast, we have made the decision to cancel our team’s participation in this Saturday’s meet in Knoxville.

The National Weather Service is forecasting a significant winter storm across much of Tennessee, including snow, sleet, freezing rain, and extremely cold temperatures. With the likelihood of hazardous road conditions and the potential for prolonged impacts, we believe that traveling would pose unnecessary risk to our athletes and families.

While we always strive to compete as scheduled, the safety of our swimmers, parents, and coaches must come first. Out of an abundance of caution, this decision has been made early to allow families time to adjust plans and avoid unsafe travel conditions.
